There were Juke boxes on every table and by every seat at the counter. We could play our favorite songs, and even sometimes they let us dance in there..As a Teenager in the 50's it was the coolest place.. Posted: 02/07/2009 |

I remember my friends and i ditching school to go to Tam's to grab a bite and then hop the fence back to school. Other days we will go to the liquor store across the train track to buy some chip and soda and just walk around the school trying to hide from the cops and teachers. Posted: 01/13/2009 |

The place to be at when the school had no fences was Hearts. Right on the corner of Miles and Slauson. Place does not exist anymore.. Lots of memories in that place. Posted: 01/16/2009 |
